Largest Moon of 2009

This past weekend was the weekend to see the largest moon of 2009. Unfortunately, Saturday when it would have been the fullest, Huntsville was completely cloudy so the moon wasn't viewable. Luckily, I had another chance to see it on Sunday when it was clear. I was able to capture the photo below right outside my front door. Taken on a tripod (Christmas present from dad!) with spot metering and ISO 200, with my Nikon D40 and 55-200mm VR lens (at 200mm), cropped.
